According to government studies, aproximately 127 million people (adults, teens, children), fall into the obese catagory.
Last year alone, 5 billion dollars were spent on Gastric Bypass Procedures with an alarming rate of failure, quoted to be as high as 85%. There is also a 2% risk of dying within the first month after having the procedure.
The result of obesity has led to an increasing number of Type II Diabetes Cases amongst adults, teens and children.
Other Diseases attributed to being Obese are but not limited to: Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Cornary Artery Disease, Kidney and Liver Disease and Failure, Sleep Apnea, Degenerative Joint Disease, etc.....
Obesity leads to a shortened, unhealthy lifespan.
Another important but sometimes overlooked result of obesity is Depression. Depression comes from many things and yes has a physical cause, however, poor self esteem, poor image and the inability to perform routine daily acts of living, such as playing with their children, inability to walk long distances, being essentially bound to home all play a part in the depression.
I myself fall into the catagory of obese. I have tried numerous weight loss plans, pills and potions which led to weight loss, but it was always short lived. Looking back, the number one cause for my own failure at weight loss and/or maintaining it was linked to one factor...
Hunger! I was constantly hungry when dieting and drinking tons of water did not rid me of the hunger pangs I felt. I was told I lacked "Will Power", but those that told me that never tried "Will Power" on a bout of Diarrhea.
So, what are we to do?
After much research, I stumbled upon a Technological Breakthrough in weight loss and maintenance success. Unfortunately, for me, the product will not be released until Sept. of this year, 2008.
I call this product, "Similar to Gastric Bypass without the Surgery"....because it works on the same principle of making the stomach unable to ingest as much food. But, instead of having any kind of procedure performed, all I have to do is swallow a capsule.
I am so excited that I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I'd love to talk to others out in cyber world who have had the same problems with diets. Maybe we can start an online support group.
Anyone interested can give me a call at 717-254-6501. Just ask for Deb
